CAUTION: This is an advanced feature which may or may not be available depending upon your role’s ACL restrictions and should be used with extreme caution. There is no undo button.

It cannot be over-emphasized that this is an ADVANCED feature that should be used with great precaution. There is no “undo” for changes made.

This option allows users to select product categories, specific products, option categories, and values to which you can apply mass pricing adjustments.

  1. After you select the Manually set prices button, and select the Level at which you want your price adjustments to be applied, you will see a large variety of ways to Modify Price at the level you selected.

  2. Each selection group in the Modify Price section can reveal additional options below the Modify Price section which will determine where and how your changes are applied.

NOTE: While adjustments made using this feature will obviously effect pricing, though it doesn’t seem like a price adjustment, the mass adjust pricing feature also provides a way for the admin to mass enable or disable display of values, the actual value entries in option categories, as well as mass remove the quotable configuration which appears as a checkbox below each option category/value entry. These changes will likely effect the price appearing on the calculator for products where it is applied.

  3. Depending upon which selections were made for level and what type modification, a hierarchical set of choices providing you the opportunity to select tiers, categories, and if selected products, options, and values to which you would like the specified changes to be applied.

    (and/or)

NOTE: If you selected a deeper level to which you would like your adjustments applied, each selection will reveal deeper selections to which you can to apply your price adjustment.

(e.g. In the illustration above, Yard Signs was selected revealing a list of yard sign size options, and after a size was selected a set of option categories was revealed, from which Colors was selected, which revealed the various values under that option category. Note the current pricing at each tier is listed at the product > size > option category > value level. The number of available choices is completely dependent upon the structure of your product catalog.)

  4. If the selections you made in the Modify Price section warrant entering a numerical value, once you have made selections for categories (and other areas as designated) you will see the AMOUNT text entry field. NOTE: In this field you can enter a value as a dollar value (5.00) or a percent (5%).

  5. Notice the [Preview Price] link below the Amount field. If this appears, and your choices are displaying a pricing grid for a product or products above, you will be able to click it to see the effect the change will make on the existing prices displayed. NOTE: Clicking it only changes the values displaying, but you must actually press the Submit button to make the changes your current pricing on your storefront.

  6. It’s highly suggested you carefully review your selections from top to bottom on the page before finally pressing the SUBMIT button to initialize the application of your defined price changes.
